About

What is paint protection film?

Paint protection film (PPF, or 'clear bra') is a thick, self-healing urethane film applied over your paint to physically stop rock chips, road-rash, scratches and scuffs before they ever reach the finish. It's the only appearance product that takes a real impact for you — invisible once installed, and removable without harming the paint.

  • 01Thorough wash and decontamination of every panel to be wrapped.
  • 02Film cut to your exact model (computer-cut patterns or bulk-wrapped edges).
  • 03Wet-applied and squeegeed, with edges tucked for a near-invisible finish.
  • 04Cure time before washing so the adhesive fully sets.
Stops rock chips
Absorbs highway debris, sand, and stones that would otherwise chip the hood, bumper and mirrors.
Self-healing
Light swirls and marks disappear with heat from the sun or warm water as the film re-levels.
Protects resale value
Keeps the factory paint flawless underneath; peel it before trade-in for like-new panels.
Pairs with coating
Many owners top PPF with a ceramic coating for gloss and easy cleaning over the film.

Coverage is the biggest driver — partial front, full front, track package, or full-body — followed by vehicle size and how complex the panels are to wrap. Full-body on a large SUV is the top of the range.

FAQ

Paint Protection Film questions

How much of the car should I wrap in PPF?

Most people start with a full front (hood, fenders, bumper, mirrors) — the panels that take highway impacts. Track and full-body add rockers, pillars, and every painted panel.

How long does PPF last?

Quality film carries a 7–10 year warranty against yellowing, cracking, and peeling.

Is PPF visible?

A good install with wrapped edges is nearly invisible; gloss film is clear and matte film gives a satin finish.

Can PPF be removed?

Yes — professional removal lifts the film cleanly and leaves the factory paint intact.
